Dryad Networks GmbH named 'Company of the Year' in the state of Brandenburg by Ostdeutscher Sparkassenverband (OSV)
Dryad's Co-founder and CEO Carsten Brinkschulte was present in Potsdam last week to receive the award of Company of the Year by German bank Ostdeutscher Sparkassenverband (OSV).
Award judges were impressed with Dryad's revolutionary approach to tackling the growing problem of wildfires via its early detection IoT network of wildfire sensors and gateways. This approach allows Dryad's customers to be alerted about fires within sixty minutes or less, allowing for their safe and straightforward extinguishing thus helping to prevent ruinous megafires.

Contributing also to Dryad's win was the fact that its Made in Germany products are in demand internationally, in countries as diverse as the United States, Greece, South Korea and Spain.
The 'Company of the Year' award honors companies that assert themselves on the market with modern marketing and creative potential and create permanent jobs through stable growth. It was presented by the Executive President of OSV, Ludger Weskamp, and the Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Barnim, Uwe Riediger.

A total of 195 candidates applied with one prize winner each from Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt awarded in the categories 'Company of the Year', 'Association of the Year' and 'Municipality of the Year.'
As part of the process, videos of shortlisted companies were produced in conjunction with the award's organizers.
