Dryad has added to its trophy cabinet by winning the Best of Show award in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) category at the inaugural Impact Awards.
Dryad’s winning entry was for Silvanet, its large-scale IoT network for the ultra-early detection of wildfires that incorporates AI-powered gas sensors and a cloud-based analytics and alert platform.
Run by UNO INO eG and the Impact Festival, the awards recognize the most impactful European startups in four categories: platform solutions, software solutions, hardware solutions and social innovation.
The four category winners demonstrated that they operate a sustainable business model and have a positive societal impact.
All startups participating in the Impact Festival, which took place in Frankfurt, Germany, had the opportunity to enter the awards. A jury of experts evaluated each startup against a series of tough criteria to determine the winners.
